Recount is a text which retells events or experiences in the past. Its purpose is either to inform or to entertain the audience. There is no complication among the participants and that differentiates from narrative.

Teks yang ditulis untuk menceritakan kembali informasi atau hiburan. Tujuannya adalah baik untuk menginformasikan atau menghibur penonton. Tidak ada komplikasi antara peserta dan yang membedakan dari narasi.

Yang menceritakan tentang cerita atau  urutan dari kejadian. Salah satu dari empat bentuk-bentuk tradisional komposisi (bersama dengan deskripsi, eksposisi, dan persuasi). Procedure text is a text that tells the reader how to do or make something with these steps. It explains how people perform different processes in a sequence of steps. The information presented this text uses simple present tense, often imperative sentence. It also uses the conjunction of time as the first, second, then, next, finally, etc.

Prosedur teks adalah teks yang memberitahu pembaca bagaimana melakukan atau membuat sesuatu dengan langkah-langkah. Ini menjelaskan bagaimana orang melakukan proses yang berbeda dalam urutan langkah-langkah. Informasi yang disajikan teks ini menggunakan simple present tense, seringkali kalimat imperatif.
