A.     Definition

Report is a text which presents information about something.

Laporan teks adalah menyajikan informasi tentang sesuatu.

B.      General Structure of Report Text

·         Generic classification: Stating classification of general aspect of thing; animal; public place; plant; etc which will be discussed in general.

·         Description                  : describing the thing which will be discussed in detail; part, customs or deed for living creature and usage for materials.

·         Klasifikasi generik: klasifikasi menyatakan aspek umum dari hal, hewan, tempat umum, tanaman, dll yang akan dibahas secara umum.

·         Keterangan           : menggambarkan hal yang akan dibahas secara rinci, bagian, kebiasaan atau perbuatan untuk makhluk hidup dan penggunaan bahan.

C.      Language Features

·         Introducing group or general aspect.

·         Using conditional logical connection; when, so, etc.

·         Using simple present tense.

·         Memperkenalkan kelompok atau aspek umum.

·         Menggunakan koneksi logis kondisional, ketika, sehingga, dll.

·         Menggunakan puluhan hadir sederhana.

Tiger

Tiger are mammals. They are tame animal and they are kind of raccoon. Originally, Tiger Sumatra lived in Sumatra Island Today, Tiger are found in six isolated forest areas in Lampung Province in Sumatra. Tiger live in high Forest areas, that have natural forested areas with mammals ,. Many people think that the tiger only eats stems, but it will also eat berries, In the wild it will also catch fish and hunt small birds and rodents. This is not enough to live on, though, so it mainly eats various species of meats. Tiger have claws to protect their selves from danger.
